Now, that we have new governors
Now, that we have new governors

The elections are over and we now have new governors in some states while some governors were returned for a second term in office. So many things went wrong in the past four years. In so many states no development was recorded. In fact many workers have been suffering due to lack of salaries. The governors must know that they will one day account for their deeds. They should therefore see this as an opportunity to right the wrongs. For the first-timers, they should learn from the mistakes of their predecessors and work hard to avoid same. While they were not in the corridors of power, they heard the people lament and they know the problems of the people. They should not shut their ears now that they are in office. They should work hard to change the plight of the common man. This issue of salary should be prioritized as we are all aware, a worker deserves his wages. They should also engage in developmental projects that will improve their states and lives of the people. For the governors who are returning; God has given them a second chance and I urge them not to mismanage it. They should change the things that they did not do well in the last dispensation and they should endeavor to do better this time around.  We must note that one day we shall all be judged by our deeds on earth.
