This weekend, ‘The Flying Antelopes’ will be guests of Sunshine, who finished as runners-up last season, and in midweek they will also be on the road against Gombe United, who started this season on a very bright note.

Rangers, who are top of the table with 26 points from 13 matches, said they want to maintain an unbeaten run by amassing at least four points from these two away matches.

Rangers captain James Okwuosa told MTNFootball.com: “Our team spirit is very high now and I don’t see us not coming back to Enugu with at least a win and a draw.

“I can’t say where we are getting the win or the draw but it is going to be four points from these two very tough fixtures.

“Our belief in God is unshakeable this season. We are destined for the top.”

Leading scorer for Rangers with six goals Chikeluba Ofoedu said he is confident of a result at Sunshine Stars.

“It is going to be tough considering the fact that they won away last week. I know it will be tough playing Sunshine in Ijebu-Ode, but the way the league is now and our form, we are going for the three points at stake, we are up to the task,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sunshine two-goal hero against Rising Stars last week, Dele Olorundare, said he wishes to extend his fine form against Rangers.

“It will be a good game. I am looking forward to having a good game so as to continue with my form in front of goal. Rangers will come hard but we are a good team and I am sure they will fall,” Olorundare said.

Twenty two players made this double road trip but there is again no room for Ivorian striker Boris Konan, who has failed to find the back of the net after 10 games.
