NPL’s last transfer window opens March 14

NPL’s acting Executive Secretary, Mr. Tunji Babalola disclosed that “the reason for this final transfer window is very explicit and I like use this medium to urge clubs to use this period to register player(s) to reinforce their teams against the second stanza of the league which will be more competitive’’.

He further emphasized on article 2.2 of 2010/2011 Nigeria Premier League rules and regulations which states that, All League clubs shall be restricted to registration of only 35 players per league season.

Meanwhile, the NPL has decided to observe two weeks break beginning from 14th – 25th March 2011 during the registration of players for the final transfer window will be on.
