The Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Engr. Fidet Okhiria, has handed over to the most senior director in the corporation, Mr. Iloanusi after completing his second 4-year tenure.
Daily Trust reports that Okhiria’s second tenure ended on Friday, October 18, after serving as the MD for over eight years.
He was first appointed as acting MD before his appointment was confirmed by the then President, Muhammadu Buhari who reappointed him for another four-year tenure.
Iloanusi, the acting MD, is the Director of Public Procurement in the corporation.

The outgoing MD, during the handing over ceremony, commended the management and staff of the corporation for the cooperation and understanding extended to him during his tenure.
The Deputy Director of Public Relations, Yakub Mahmood, in a statement quoted the former MD as advising the management and staff to cooperate with the acting MD.
Mr Ben Iloanusi is a graduate of Political Science from the University of Nigeria Nsukka with an MBA in international management from the South Bank University London.
