The Commandant-General (CG) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has warned Nigerians against security threats, insisting that anyone found guilty will face the wrath of the law.
Audi, who was on a visit to the Ogun State command of the corps in Abeokuta, stressed that Nigerians must obey the rule of law for peace to reign in the nation.
The CG, who earlier visited Gov Dapo Abiodun in his office, disclosed that he was on a tour of all the corps’ commands across the nation to appraise the performances of his personnel.
He said, “My message to Nigerians is that they should be very conscious and behave well. Nigerians are good people who respect rule of law, but anybody who is planning to cause any trouble, we will go after the person.”
Audi, while addressing men of the corps, charged them to be professional in the discharge of their duty and portray the corps as dependable before the citizens.
