In the same vein Gana said that, the Corps will not condone fraudulent social media adverts, made on its behalf to defraud applicants.
He explained that modalities have been put in place to clamp down on such perpetrators.
A statement from the corps spokesman, Emmanuel Okeh, stated that the CG has directed the intelligence, Anti-Fraud and ACTU units of the Corps to re-strategise and redouble their intelligence network in clamping down on employment racketeers.
The action became necessary as a results of several fraudulent job racketeering schemes fronting as the NSCDC.
He said" The was necessitated by the proliferation of the social media platform where desperate applicants are deceived into filing forms online and some were made to pay money."
Abdullahi cautioned applicants to be wary of websites that presents themselves as conducting "recruitment and underground replacement exercise of 10,000 (personnel)" .
He also called on all those who chooses to patronise the online platform for the purported recruitment to desist, as the Corps recruitment pattern is neither through social media nor through any consultant.
He however assured Nigerians that at the appropriate time the Corps will advertise for recruitment through reputable electronic and print media when the approval is given.
