The Ekiti State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has paraded four persons for various offences ranging from kidnapping threat, theft and stealing in the state.

The NSCDC Commandant, Mr. John Fayemi, named the suspects as Tobi Olayinka, 21, Ayodeji Fanse, 21 and Daniel Emmanuel, 23.

Fayemi said Olayinka sent a threat message to his former employer, Hamzat Adebisi, demanding a ransom of N1.5m, threatening that he would be kidnapped if the money is not paid.

He used a fictitious name, account and telephone numbers, but he was caught at the point they were about to collect the ransom.

He said the other suspect, Fanse, stole N500,000, which he was given to buy a car, but used the money to buy a phone and for merriment during the festivities.

He deceived people that his parents sent him N100,000.

The commandant also said Emmanuel, on his part, stole iron sheets used for fabrication.

He said the command is still investigating the matter.
