The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Benue State on Monday paraded nine suspects for their various involvements in kidnapping, vandalism as well as other criminal offences.

NSCDC’s state Commandant, Dr. Philip Okoh, who paraded the suspects at the state Command’s headquarters in Makurdi, disclosed that the suspects were arrested between February 4 and February 10, 2022 in different locations within the state.

Okoh named the suspected kidnappers as Sabastine Hidejime and Abraham Toryem who abducted a bus with 18 passengers on December 12, 2021 and  seven others.
