Team FCT on Tuesday defeated Team Edo 30-17 to clinch handball bronze at the ongoing National Sports Festival tagged “Gateway Games 2024.”
Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) after the game held at the Alake Sports Complex in Abeokuta, the Head Coach of Team FCT, Ayo Joshua, thanked God for the victory.
He noted that the players played to instructions, concentrated without losing focus.
“We told ourselves after losing yesterday that we must make sure we go home with the bronze medal.
