NSUK’s physically challenged students rejoice with graduating colleagues

The graduating members are Asaba Avreson the outgoing JONAPWD President, Audu Ogafu, a BSc  Economics holder, Saleh Abdullahi Psychology, Abdullahi Umar, Islamic Studies  and Yusuf Enang with a degree in Law.
Speaking at the event, the Registrar of the University, Dalhatu Mammam said NSUK will welcome back the graduating students to further their education, advising them to be good ambassadors of the university.
Represented by secretary of the school of post-graduate studies, Dr. Abdullahi Jibrin, he noted that the issue of accommodation for the physically challenged persons was under consideration to ensure that they are comfortable.
Earlier, the outgoing president of JONAPWD, NSUK Chapter, Asaba Avreson, thanked the university’s vice chancellor ,Prof. Muhammad Mainoma and his management team for approving automatic admission for students with special needs who meet admission requirements.
Avreson called on the members of the association to adhere strictly to the university’s rules and regulations and work hard in their academic pursuits.
Certificates of honour were given to some members of JONAPWD for their performance, among whom were Asaba Avreson, Saleh Abdullahi and Adams Nicholas just as the principal of People’s Comprehensive Academy, Mararraba, Nasarawa State, Mr. Kanu Abednego, supported each of the graduating student with N10, 000.
