The Federation has selected five male players to vie for medals in the tourney, which is expected to feature top teams from four continents.
Monday Merotohun, Aruna Quadri, Kazeem Nosiru, Seun Ajetunmobi and Lanre Jegede will fly Nigeria flag in the tourney, while Coach Lateef Sunmola is expected to handle the team.
Representing Africa, Nigeria will slug it out with Canada (North America), Australia (Oceanic) and host, United Arab Emirate (Asia) to determine which country will join the World’s top seven teams at the World Team Cup Classic.
The tourney, which will be played at Al-Nasr Sports Club, will be used by the federation to keep Nigerian male team in good shape for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games slated for India later in the year.
