NUC approves 23 programmes for Al-Hikmah varsity

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 22 new courses for Al-Hikmah University, Kwara State.

One of the programmes – Information System, was granted interim approval, pending the next visitation by the commission.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Noah Yusuf, disclosed this at a news conference on the results of 2020 NUC accreditation held at the university’s auditorium.

According to him, courses that got accreditation include Cyber Security, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Petroleum Chemistry, Mass Communication, Political Science and Conflict Management.

Others are Islamic Studies, Arabic, Physics with Electronics and Medical Laboratory Science.
