The Vice chancellor University of Jos Prof. Tanko Ishaya, has promise to redefine the upcoming NUGA games to create complex our own local sports tournament among talented youths.

Ishaya commended the state government under the leadership of governor Caleb Mutfwang for his optimism for supporting talented youths in sport development.

He applauded the Chairman Royal CBS Group Mr Khalifah Onu and his great team who are the prime consultant for forthcoming Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) competition projects for great job done to ensuring successful outcome fo this upcoming NUGA games.

According to him, “we are also going ensure alote of innovations and one of the main goal for this institution is for this games to be one best tournament in the history of west Africa.”

He stressed that the impact of the competition main objective is to empower young people and help them become champions on the international stage throughout their careers and to also promote peace and unity in communities.

“We are working hard to use NUGA as a platform to empower university students create jobs, opportunities for our teaming vulnerable youths at the local level,” he added.

He urged participating universities to give their best and maintain discipline, emphasizing that this year’s tournament could open global opportunities for the athletes.

We are committed that this event will alote of investments in infrastructural development no just for the state but for the nations in general.

“We are ready to showcase various potential of the institutions and all hands are on desk to ensuring that we archived a greater result for the outcome of this NUGA games tournaments.

“This will records as most smoothly successful innovative competitions to complete with international games,” he concluded.
