Award-winning director, Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, marks his 20th anniversary in the Nigerian film industry.
Popularly referred to as ‘The Guvnor,’ friends and colleagues have rolled out the drums to celebrate the thespian with activities including the release of two television series.
In recognition of his talent, works and contributions to Nollywood, the prolific filmmaker, screen writer and director, recently received three awards, one of which was his investiture as patron of a youth organisation in his home state, Edo.
There will be a red carpet in his honour today which will be followed by a thanksgiving service tomorrow.
Imasuen made his first movie in 1995, and has made several other movies include the widely acclaimed ‘Invasion 1897’ which has received global recognition.
