The police in Dutse have arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly attempting to have canal knowledge with a security man in Dawaki, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
City News learnt that the suspect, John Ezekiel, a commercial motorcyclist, was said to have approached the victim, simply identified as Julius at his duty post, pretending to be there to fetch water.
“The victim became suspicious of the man’s intention when he visited with a clipper, which he used to shave his own armpits and private part,” our source said.
According to the source, trouble started when the suspect, who said he lost his wife some years back, started romancing the security guard.
“The security man, who could no longer bear the strange behaviour, immediately pounced on the suspect, held him on the throat and bit him on the lips,” he added.
City News, however, learnt that the fight attracted neighbours, who intervened and later took both of them to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Confirming the incident, CSP Aisha Yusuf said the suspect had been arrested, adding that investigation had commenced.
