Crude oil is the most important natural resource of the industrialised nations. It is something that is used in everyday life and its components are used to manufacture almost all chemical products, such as plastics, detergents, paints, and even medicines. It will be of great advantage to the nation and the world at large to drill the crude oil we have in northern Nigeria because it will generate revenue for the nation, create employment opportunities, upgrade our economic status, and it will promote technological advancement. Therefore, I strongly advice PMB to give priority to drilling the oil we have in the Chad Basin, its merits cannot be over-emphasised.
