The government of Switzerland and Nestlé Nigeria Plc have teamed up to fight unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria.
Speaking at a news conference at the Swiss Embassy in Abuja, Hans-Rudolf Hodel, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nigeria, Chad and Niger, said the Switzerland government and Nigeria had signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a “migration partnership to deepen the exchanges of trainings between the two countries.”
He said the Nestlé Technical Training Center, Agbara in Ogun state, which has been upgraded with state-of-the-art facilities, is dedicated to the advancement of science and technology for the teeming Nigerian youths.
The ambassador unveiled five students who returned to the country having been trained in the Switzerland at the country’s expense.
