The former Rangers of Enugu man came on as second half substitute in Wednesday night’s friendly against Scotland and put up the kind of performance that has earned him accolades from the fans.
Former international, Tijani Babangida has since tipped him for Brazil. “Going by the performance of Nwofor against Scotland, I can say he is good enough for the World Cup.
“The goal he scored was special. You need high technique to score that kind of goal. He did well and should be considered by Keshi”, he said.
In the same vein, Dahiru Sadi said Nwofor will be a big addition to the Eagles attack. “The boy is now mature to play for the Eagles at the World Cup. I am impressed by his performance against Scotland”, he said.
