The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has felicitated with its former president, Oladele John Nihi, on his appointment as the Chief Press Secretary to the newly sworn-in Kogi Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo.

NYCN’s message was contained in a statement on Sunday by its National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Dotun Omoleye.

Omoleye expressed confidence that having previously served as the Senior Special Assistant on Communications to the immediate past Governor of the state, Nihi’s “leadership experience would contribute to the success of the administration in this new role.”

“Currently representing Nigeria as the Vice President of West Africa at the Pan-Africa Youth Union (PYU) and serving previously as Chairman Kogi State Chapter of the NYCN before becoming its National President, it is glaring that you possess the requisite wealth of experience which positioned you well for this crucial responsibility.

“The entire youth community celebrates your elevation, and we wish you God’s wisdom and guidance as you embark on this new chapter. May you continue to champion the cause of youth development for the progress of our nation. Build the Youth! Build the Nation!,” the statement read in part.
