The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Brigadier General Johnson Bamidele Olawumi, has commended the Federal Polytechnic Bida for organizing pre-orientation programmes for prospective corps members. Speaking at the 2016 pre-orientation programme, the DG who was represented by the Assistant Director, Control, Mr. Sagai John Adam, said the idea of Youth Service was initiated to unite Nigerians and promote harmonious co-existence after the Nigeria Civil War. He said the pre-orientation exercise was worthy of consideration.
