National Youth Service Corps has commiserated with the family of late Corps member Tawose Modupe Busola serving in Ogun State with call up number OG/17A/2854 who was murdered by her alleged killer, Festus Udoh.
In a statment signed by the Acting Director, Public Relations Unit of the scheme, Mrs Adenike Adeyemi, the Management led by the coordinator of the scheme in Ogun State, Mr John Okpo who met with the aggrieved family of the late corps member expressed the condolence of the NYSC family hence, told the family of the deceased that Management of the scheme was working to ensure that the perpetrator of the heinous crime was brought to book.
Okpo assured corps members that the scheme will continue to protect them while they are observing their one year service programme.
He prayed God to console the family in their moment of grief and advised Corps members to be security conscious always and promptly report any security threat to the appropriate authorities.
An uncle to the deceased, Mr Hakeem Okunola thanked the NYSC Management for the visit and its prompt action which led to the arrest of the alleged killer.
