The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is set to resume orientation exercise in camps across the 37 states of the country from the 10th of November.
The camps were closed in March following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Director Press and Public Relations of the scheme, Mrs Adenike Adeyemi, said this was sequel to the announcement by the Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr Sunday Dare that the scheme can go ahead and resume its activities.
She stated that the management has urged all Prospective Corps Members to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols while in camp, in order to have a hitch-free Orientation course.
Authorities suspended the programme in March and asked Corps members to return home as part of efforts to tackle the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
