The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released a movie, ‘A call to service.’

The movie which was premiered in Abuja recently featured Nollywood’s finest including Pete Edochie, Ali Nuhu, Belinder Effah, Jairuspaul Osazuwa, Toyin Abraham, Samirah Fashina, Imeh Bishop (Okon Lagos), Anita Asuoha (Real Warripikin), Steve Eboh, Bruno Iwuoha amongst others.

The movie showed the benefit of the one-year youth service corps. The producer and scriptwriter of the movie, who recently completed his youth service, Jairuspaul Osazuwa said that the movie was an advocacy film about a young boy John, the only son of a very wealthy businessman who believes that with fame, wealth and public acceptance of his father he could get away with his actions.

“I was inspired by the outstanding productivity and happenings of the NYSC under the leadership of Brig Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim the DG of the NYSC who is also the executive producer of the film and the nation at large,” he said. 

The Minister for Youths and Sport, Mr Sunday Dare urged graduates to use the NYSC platform to bring out their talents, and see the need to live with each other despite different tribes and religions.
