The lantern has a high and low emergency flashing mode, high/low solar rechargeable automatic panel opening and an LED light.  It also has an emergency function, plus it’s made out of stainless steel and ABS construction.  In order to reach a full charge it’ll take 12-24 hours through the panel, or you can use the included AC adapter.  When you pick this up you’ll also get a small umbrella thrown in.
