The ward located at Phase IV of the institution, close to the sub-surgical speciality building, is made up of eight well-furnished rooms and two mini-suites.
Disclosing this to journalists in Ile-Ife, the Chief Medical Director of OAUTHC, Professor Victor Adebayo Adetiloye remarked that “the Private Suite will attract medical fees discount for those who patronize the centre and the services there are majorly to supplement other specialized medical services being provided in the hospital.”
The Chief Medical Director further told newsmen that in order to ensure optimum efficient services at the Suite, the management of the hospital had procured all the necessary equipment and also made available the qualified medical personnel to attend to patients needs 24-hours daily.
Patients who required specialized services have therefore  been called upon by the management of the hospital to contact the administrator of the Amenity Ward.
