The Chairman, Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, has called on the people of Ekiti State to strictly adhere to health instructions provided by the state government to

ward off the raging coronavirus pandemic.

Oba Alabi, who is the Alawe of Ilawe, gave the advice yesterday in his palace while receiving cartons of sanitizers and some water buckets donated by a member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Yemisi Ayokunle, to the community.

According to the Alawe, the administration of Governor Kayode Fayemi has provided good leadership in providing the necessary infrastructure, instructions and massive media campaigns, and the various communities should, therefore, obey such instructions and directives.

Presenting the items, Ayokunle stressed that the donation was part of her contributions to help her people in the battle against the pandemic.

She pledged that she would always be on the side of her people at all times.
