Oba of Lagos and Chairman of Traditional Council of Lagos State, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Oba Rilwan Akiolu has lauded the 2024 NPA/GTCO Lagos International Polo Tournament as one of the most prestigious polo events in the world going by the quality of play and participation by world high ranking professionals.

The Royal Father told Polo Royals that the commitment of the Lagos polo in promoting tourism for over a century now has remained a major diplomatic tool in putting Nigeria on the tourism map of the world as a major destination.

Leighton King won the event’s biggest prize, the Majekodunmi Cup, and the Independence Cup respectively, while Trojan/ Ark won the Open Cup. And Art Hotel Shoreline clinches the glittering Italian Ambassador.
