Speculations were rife early yesterday morning with the purported demise of the former President, a development that prompted a session with newsmen at his  Presidential Hill, in Abeokuta. Cladded in Army coloured guinea brocade with a green cap to match, Obasanjo wondered why rumour-mongers would not stop pronouncing him dead even when “I am kicking and well. “But, if I am dead, you would not have seen me in flesh and blood talking to you and wishing Nigerians a very happy New Year 2011. People take delight in speculation and I wish them well to continue,”  he said.
