The three volume memoir, in which Obasanjo made uncomplimentary remarks about President Goodluck Jonathan and some key national figures was launched in December in defiance of an Abuja court order that stopped the publication of the book.
Justice Valentine Ashi had ordered the Police and Customs to cease all copies of the book after Obasanjo had gone ahead with the launch.
Obasanjo appealed the order a day later but the publication remains banned pending a determination of the matter by the court, which is expected to to drag on until after the general elections in February.
This has ensured that despite high demand for the book, it is not available in Nigerian bookstores.
However, the Kindle edition of the book is now on sale on Amazon for 8.57 BPS, which amounts to about N2, 168 per volume.
The presidency is determined to keep the book away from Nigerians until at least after the elections but Obasanjo seems determined to have his way.
