The son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Lt Col  Obasanjo has been shot by Boko Haram insurgents around Bazza town in Michika Local Government Area Monday morning.

 

A military source  said Obasanjo who  led a reinforcement of Army engineers to the battlefront in Michika from the headquarters of 23 Armoured Brigade in Yola sustained bullet wounds in an encounter with Boko Haram between Bazza and Michika in the morning hours on Monday.

The Army Public Relations Officer of the Brigade, Capt Jafaru Nuhu could not be reached for Comments.
