Obaseki appoints Enabulele Amirul-Hajj

The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has appointed Malam Abdulfatah Enabulele as the state Amirul-Hajj for this year’s pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

The appointment was contained in a statement signed yesterday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Barrister Osarodion Ogie, and made available to journalists in Benin.

Malam Enabulele is the Chief Imam of Benin Central Mosque.

Meanwhile in another development, Governor Obasekihas inaugurated a-7-man committee to investigate the management of Edo State Polytechnic, Usen in Ovia South-West Lcal Government.

The committee, headed by Professor Rose Egonmwan, is to examine the administrative structure in line with the establishing law.
