Obi empowers 240 youths with N24m

Former Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State has offered N100,000 each to 240 youths to support their trading or to start petty trading.

He also donated 20 Siena buses and 20 Keke NAPEP vehicles to the youths of Agulu as well as N1 million scholarship to one Miss Chinwe Okonkwo who had first class in his first and second degrees to study her PhD. 

Addressing Agulu people at the Town Hall at the weekend, the former governor called for judicious use of the money and to report back should any challenge crop up, but warned against using the money for vanity.
