Governor Obiano who announced this while commissioning the Okochi Migrant Farmers Basic School, Okpuno, Awka South Local Government Area of the state, stated that the schools, would be located in specific farming communities.
The new school block is made up of nine classrooms, administrative office and library. The governor  who was accompanied by his wife, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, said the siting of the school was a deliberate strategy of his administration to bring education closer to the people especially those in agriculture producing areas.
He directed the Ministry of Education to ensure immediate provision of water and toilet facilities in the school and approved the construction of Okochi Village major access road to enable farmers in the area to evacuate farm produce easily and  further stimulate development of the area.
Governor Obiano said 350 new blocks had been completed in various schools while 850 schools had been renovated and 200 more would be completed this year to change the outlook of the schools and provide conducive learning environment in line with the policy of his administration to turn around the education sector.
The Chairman of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUDEB), Chief Nze-Emeka Olisa, said the school is well equipped and has enough teachers while tuition is free.
Chief Olisa lamented the poor population of pupils in the school and urged residents of the area to  to take the advantage to give their children quality education at no cost.
