“The site for the construction has been approved and all the money required for the project is ready. The contract for each 2-bedroom bungalow will be N7.2 million and the completion period is 16 weeks”, the commissioner said, adding that there would be strict supervision in order to ensure quality delivery by the contractors.

According to him, “housing is a serious issue in the world and is also a priority of the present administration. We hope to continue to build more and in the process to empower our people”.

He said the money for the project which was over N2 billion was sourced from the savings of the government and pointed out that government did not collect any loan from anywhere.
