Speaking after his team’s 2-0 defeat in the hands of Pillars, the coach said even though he lost the match he was impressed with the quality of the playing pitch and the turn out of the fans who cheered their team to victory.

“If Nigerian football is played under this kind of atmosphere, I am sure it will go a long way in improving Nigerian football” he said.

Coach Unuanele in addition said although he lost the match, his players gave a good account of themselves.

“We have proved that we did not come to Kano to sell akara. And I am sure that Ladan  Bosso who happens to be my boss knows that he played a tough match. We lost five of our regulars in this match but we were determined to give Kano people a very good game.

“Everybody knows the position of Pillars. If you come to their home and play them hands down in the first half, you should expect more fire-works in the second half and that was what happened. I lost to a team that is good and determined to win. My team also played very well”.

The coach said he is looking forward to the remaining matches which would determine whether or not his team would remain in the top flight.
