The West Africa Polytechnic Student Union (WAPSU) in conjunction with the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) have said the acting Rector, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Dr. Ayodele Olaosebikan, has led the institution to regain its former standing as a centre of academic excellence, as well as rebuilt its image and structures.
They condemned the leadership tussle over the rector’s vacancy which was being contested by over 30 applicants.
Addressing a press conference in Kaduna, the Regional President of WAPSU, Salaudeen A. Lukman said, “The management and acting Rector have commenced massive repairs and fixing of broken facilities and students’ hostels.”
