The dismissed police corporal Micheal Adikwu and Kunle Ogunleye aka Arrow, who were part of the robbers that took part in the deadly Offa bank robbery in which several people, including policemen, were killed have made new confessions.

Adikwu in his statement admitted killing over 20 persons in the past and that a good number of them were policemen. He also admitted leading the bank robbery on that fateful day.

While fielding questions from operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Special Intelligence and Response Team (IRT), led by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr Abba Kyari, Adikwu confessed to have singlehandedly killed over 20 people, majority of them being policemen.

Adikwu was formerly working with the Kwara State Police Command, SARS unit, before he was dismissed for allowing robbery suspects to escape. 

A member of the gang, Kunle Ogunleye aka Arrow, also confessed to have killed two people, while Abel said he killed five people.

The suspects may be paraded this week at the Force headquarters, Abuja, by the Force Spokesman, Jimoh Moshood.
