The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Ogun Area II Command, says it generated over N4 billion revenue in the month of January 2025.
The Customs Area Controller, Olusola Alade, disclosed this during a press conference in Abeokuta, saying the figure represents a significant increase of 104% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Alade also disclosed that the command discovered four unauthorised factories operating without proper licenses and permits in the Ota axis of the state.
The factories are Evita Moore, Lekan Industries, Scarlet Eagle Ltd and IBK Ventures.

He said, “It may interest you to know that the command generated the sum of N4,000,335,323.53 as revenue for the month of January 2025.
“This can be compared to N2,135,276.673.86 generated in the corresponding period of last year, 2024. There is a differential of N1,865,058,649.67 which is a significant increase of 104%.
“This is to say that the command generated the total sum of N32,461,458,858.59 last year.”
The area controller, Alade, praised the officers for their diligence, professionalism, and dedication in ensuring that the revenue target given to the command was met and exceeded.
