The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Ladi Adebutu, has said the state deserves better governance than what the Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration currently offers.
He accused the Abiodun-led government of taking “gargantuan loans” without any justification and having meaningful impacts on the lives of the citizens.
Adebutu flanked by his running mate, Adekunle Akinlade, the party’s state chairman, Sikirullahi Ogundele and other party leaders, spoke at Iperu in Ikenne LGA while distributing campaign vehicles and other materials, as part of his mobilisation across the state.

He asked the people to hold the Abiodun-led administration accountable for every penny spent in the last four years.
“Let me assure you, an account must be given for every expense in the last four years. It is our lot as leaders to work hard and unearth this decadence and free ourselves from this toga.
“Ogun State deserves better. We will offer you the opportunity to be ruled by great men again like Awolowo,” he said.
