The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has been allocated 497 slots by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) for the 2022 Hajj exercise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Salau Dauda, revealed this in Abeokuta while speaking with newsmen, saying out of 43,008 Hajj slots given to the country, NAHCON allocated 497 slots to the state, while the remaining slots were shared among other states, including the FCT, armed forces and private tour operators.
