Ogun gov assures Ijoko-Akute residents of motorable road

Governor Dapo Abiodun

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has assured the residents of Sango Ota/ Ijoko/Olambe/Akute/Alagbole of a motorable road by December.

The governor gave the assurance during his visit to the area.

He noted that though the road belonged to the federal government, he was making it a priority for people, who had been neglected for years in the area, to feel his administration’s impact.

He said one lane of the 32km road from Sango Ota through Ijoko to Alagbole would be done between now and December “to ensure that motorists and other road users who ply the road daily do so without stress which has been their lot for years.”

He commended the residents for their patience.

The governor gave the contractor handling the road December deadline.
