The Ogun Alternate Medicine Board on Thursday, said it has commenced the screening and orientation of no fewer than 600 herbage vendors across the state.
This, it said, is to checkmate the activities of the vendors and ensure the wellbeing of its citizens.
The Chairman of the Board, Mr Balogun Olaleye, said at sensitisation workshop that the government planned to certify herbage vendors and encourage them to maintain the required standards.
While presenting the certificate to the first batch of qualified participants, Olaleye warned them against sharp practices.
