Worried by some recent developments, the Ebira People’s Association (EPA) has urged various interest groups involved in the issue between Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr Ado Ibrahim and Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to sheathe their swords and allow peace to reign in Ebiraland.

This was part of the resolutions of the apex cultural group at a meeting, which took place at Inike Townhall, Okene, at the weekend.

The meeting was attended by Ebira area traditional council, title holders, senior academics, youth congress and others.

A communiqué issued at the end of the meeting and signed by EPA National President, Dr. Godwin Oyibo and Secretary General, Baba Razak, cautioned that all forms of unguarded comments, analysis and write-ups in public space on the matter should seize henceforth.
