Its President, Comrade Olabode Johnson told our correspondent in Lagos yesterday that the union would jealously guide the rights of workers in the sector in the face of the current realities.
He said the union is optimistic that the Petroleum Industry Bill when passed into law would launch Nigeria into global reckoning in terms of better prospects in the oil and gas industry, stressing that the bill could still be passed barring post-election skirmishes in the country which could frustrate same.
