Ojo emerges new JCI President

Senator Ojo Richard Babajide has been elected the new President of the Junior Chamber International Nigeria, (JCIN) for the year 2017.

His election as the International organization president followed   the expiration of the  tenure of 2016 national executives of the chamber.

The election took place last Saturday in Lagos as part of the grand finale of the organization’s Annual National Convention tagged “Lasgidi 2016”.

Prior to his emergence as  the new President of the organization, Richard was a member of JCIASO local organization in Abuja. He serves currently as General Legal Counsel of the National Organization and will be taking over from the current leadership of JCI Ambassador Tunji Oyeyemi.

The new JCI Nigeria President had served in various capacities between2004 to 2016 both at the collegiate, local and national levels amongst which were 2011 JCIASO President, 2013 Chairman, National Presidential Swearing-in Committee, 2014 National Vice President (North East), 2015 National Executive Vice President (2015) and currently the National General Legal Counsel. Richard is an Insurance practitioner with Boff & Co. Insurance Brokers Limited.
