Okada ban reduces association’s check-off dues by 70 percent

Acting National Secretary of the union, Comrade Daramola Rotimi Williams who disclosed this to our correspondent at the weekend, said the development has adversely affected the activities of the association in recent times.
He said millions of his members are currently out of job leaving the association with the task of fixing them elsewhere as well as meeting its obligations.
He said the association will change its name to National Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners and Riders Associations at its general meeting billed to take place in Abuja
He explained that the name change was necessary in order to incorporate into the association commercial tricycle business which is fast gaining ground as replacement for commercial motorcycle in the country.
He appealed to the private sector to partner with his association with a view to making a huge success of the association’s transformation.
