The Public Relations Officer of the association Alhaji Hassan Abubakar who expressed the association’s support of the exercise, urged his members to endeavor to collect the permanent voters’ card “as that will enable them to vote for a credible leader in the oncoming 2015 general elections.”
Abubakar, who made the call while monitoring the exercise in Kogi State, said in a statement that the idea of a permanent voters’ card is a good policy by the Federal Government, just as he commended President Goodluck Jonathan and the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission Professor Attahiru Jega for their efforts.
