Okediran for Sankofa Initiative exchange program

Professor Wale Okediran, author of the collection of short stories, ‘Keepers of the Tribe’ will be a special guest at Sankofa Initiative’s January exchange program.

This month’s edition of Arts and Culture exchange program will be coming up on January 21 at the NuStreams Conference Centre in Ibadan.

The program will commence with readings and performances. This will be followed by an interactive session centred on the backstories behind the works of invited guests, as well as their knowledge of the creative process with intent to contribute to the development of young writers and emerging culture practitioners. There will also be a book signing session and books will be available for sale at the book stand.

Okediran is a former president of Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and winner of the 2012 Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa and author of a new novel, ‘Wrecked’.
