The Founder of the Household of God International Ministries, Rev. Chris Okotie has urged Nigerians to fully support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, saying that the failure of the government would be the failure of all Nigerians.
He stated this during the 25th edition of the church‘s annual G.R.A.C.E programme held recently at the church premises.
The colourful charity-oriented programme named G.R.A.C.E which is an acronym of God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense, is an annual event involving the giving of cash donations and support to charity organisations.
The G.R.A.C.E programme also goes along with the Karis Award which is mainly to appreciate the effort of a chosen patriotic citizen of Nigeria who has  played a vital role through his/her contribution to the development of the country in one area or the other but whose contribution has not been recognised adequately.
This year’s event was graced by distinguished personalities including Engr. Adetokunbo Shogbesan who represented the Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola; Mr. Bankole Cardoso, son of the late Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) victim, Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh and Alhaji Umar Aminu, son of the late politician and nationalist, Alhaji Aminu Kano.
The 2015 edition of Karis Award which goes with a cash reward of N1.5 million was given to the late Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh for her effort to prevent the outburst of EVD during which process she lost her life
The charity organizations that received donations included the Spinal Cord Injuries Association, the Little Saint Orphange and the Pacelli School for the Blind and Partially-Sighted, each of which collected N1.5 million.
