Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, has hailed the election of Senator Monday Okpebholo as a positive development for the state.
In his congratulatory message, Umakhihe, a former Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, praised Okpebholo’s election as a milestone that will lead to a greater and more prosperous Edo State.
He emphasised that the new administration will prioritise the well-being of citizens.
“Their dedication, empathy and concern for the welfare of those around them have made a significant impact,” he added.
